Baby on its way!

Well, it is official...come june 23rd 2012 me and jerrod will be parents to a beautiful new baby smith! We couldn't be more excited! It was a rough start with many ER trips and hospital stays, but things seem to be moving along much more smoothly now and the Drs dont seem as concerned. Infact my regular OB says that i am right where i should be although we will continue to see the high risk specialist every month to make sure there are no more bumps in the road. I don't mind because that just means i will be getting to have pictures of my little one taken every month, where as my normal insurance would have only covered 2 during the whole pregnancy.

This past week has been a wonderful week of firsts

I survived my first trip into a restaurant and was actually able to enjoy my lunch without needing to rush off to the bathroom mid meal...on top of that i had my first salad in months! just looking at a vegetable up until this point made me want to puke. It tasted so

good and was amazing! It filled me up so much i didn't even have room for the ice cream that i had been craving all day and the main reason we went into the restaurant in the first place (Jerrod made me order food before dessert...booo)

We found out Jerrod will be able to take some time off for Christmas so we will be heading to Maine to spend a few days in Dover with the Smiths and then a few days on the Islands with the Johnson's. We are so excited to be able to make it to both family Christmas Parties and see EVERYONE! Jerrod's sister Jess will even be driving with us :)

The tree is up and we are decorating it tonight. It's starting to feel like the Holiday Season and i couldn't be happier...Arizona was such a drag this time of year...wearing shorts in December and no snow is not Christmas spirit for me (sorry arizonians) so im so thankful to be back on the east coast and closer to family.

Here is babies first picture...it was taken at 4 weeks.. We will have a new one in 2 weeks at babies 14 week mark :)
